Summary
We were commissioned to carry out Highway Structures Inspections for 3 bridges in Grimsby, and many more.
Gilbey Road Viaduct is a composite beam bridge that carries vehicular and pedestrian traffic using the A180 dual carriageway over a new cut drain, Gilbey Road (cycleway), and a railway line. The inspection was carried out on foot and by the use of a cherry picker.
Alexandra Dock Bridge is a prestressed concrete beam bridge carrying vehicular and pedestrian traffic using the A180 dual carriageway over the River Freshney. The inspection was carried out on foot and with the use of a dingy on the river.
Cleethorpe Road Flyover is a concrete-encased steel beam bridge carrying vehicular and pedestrian traffic using the A180 dual carriageway over Royal Street, a railway line, and Railway Place. The inspection was carried out on foot and with the use of a cherry picker.
