Professional History
Graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2004 and experience of working with both small and international consultancies across multi disciplines in both the UK and Hong Kong. With the extensive knowledge and experiences obtained he founded the company in 2016.
Yan is a Chartered Structural Engineer with more than 19 years of experience in structural design and project management within the building and infrastructure sector. He has both project-managed and been the lead structural designer on a range of projects in the UK and overseas, including the following:
- Multi-storey commercial, industrial and residential buildings, include the design of 20 storeys reinforced concrete frame residential blocks
- Warehouses include distribution centres and data centres
- Power stations and substation, include nuclear and EfW
- Waste intelligent transfer stations
- Motor industry such as JLR, Toyota, Rolls Royce and BMW
- Rail industry, including maintenance depots, railway bridges and Crossrail stations
- Water industry
- Fire services such as South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, London Fire Brigade and Cumbria Fire and Rescue
- Defence
- International projects include Schiphol Airport, Hong Kong MTR and Bypass, Izmit Bay Crossing and Prickly Bay Condominiums
