Summary
The existing building is a two-storey detached property with a single storey rear conservatory of circa half the width of the building. The client wishes to increase the rear opening size to connect the main building with the conservatory. Further internals walls are also proposed to be removed to create an open plan layout.
A site visit was carried out to assess the property to allow the structural designing of the required elements to support the modification works. The calculations package and sketches were provided to the client for submission to building control.
