Summary
GCS was appointed as a subconsultant to provide structural engineering services to this project.
The building was previously a warehouse and we are tasked to carry out a structural assessment to the existing building to support the proposed equipment loading.
During the first stage, an assessment of the existing structure with existing loadings were modelled. Following this a structural assessment with the proposed loadings was analysed and to ensure both the superstructure and existing connection details are capable of withstanding the new loads.
An assessment report capturing the findings and recommendations was produced and made available to the client.
